walking back from lunch i heard a rather unpleasant noise coming up behind me. I turn to see a fair ly new Maxima driving up the street with its front bumper cover dragging on the street. To give ev en less fucks, this is in a construction zone. There are two officers “working” who turn to see what the noise was as well. Their jaws just drop and their heads turn to follow her as she drives by them. Just in case you thought there was one last fuck to be given, she was talking on her cellphone, not on hands free, but jamm ed right up against her ear, as she scraped by the cops.

Did the police do anything? Like go after her or write down her plate #.

nope , literately , jaws dropped and stared in wonder of how she could think that w as ok. I think they were too stunned to move. she drove right by them, no more than 8' away.

I mean... is that not okay to do? Cell phone use while driving isn't something you can be pulled over for in most states.

I do nt think hand held devices are allowed in MA.
I’m p retty sure dragging bodywork is not allowed. I could be wrong but I doubt it.

Cell phone use is grounds to get pulled over in MA, though most cops never bother.
